With the "Mastering Adobe Lightroom" video course you'll learn to make the most of Adobe Lightroom to organize, optimize, and share the photos you manage with both cloud-based and local storage.

While originally focused on cloud-based storage exclusively, a recent update to Adobe Lightroom enables you to browse and manage photos stored locally in addition to those stored in the cloud. This provides an option for photographers to leverage both the cloud and local storage as they see fit, with a workflow that does not require the use of a central catalog as is the case with Lightroom Classic.

This course starts with an introduction to the basic concepts related to Adobe Lightroom and how the desktop application fits into the overall Lightroom ecosystem, including the mobile and web browser versions of Lightroom. You'll also learn how to configure various options within Lightroom, including adjusting the interface and configuring preferences.

From there the course includes a series of lessons to help get your photos organized, using both local and cloud-based storage. You'll get tips for defining a streamlined workflow to help you quickly identify favorites versus outtakes, learn to group photos into albums and stacks, and much more.

At the core of Lightroom is a set of adjustments that help you optimize the appearance of your photos, including basic tone and color, image cleanup, targeted adjustments, creative effects, and more. Lessons will guide you through all the available adjustments, providing tips on not only how those features work but also on how to approach your images to identify which adjustments to apply.

Finally, you'll learn how to share your photos in a variety of ways, such as by synchronizing for sharing online and exporting copies of photos to share beyond Lightroom.

Please Note: This course is focused on Adobe Lightroom, not Adobe Lightroom Classic. Yes, the name similarity is confusing. The key difference is that Adobe Lightroom focuses on cloud-based storage with the ability to browse local photos as well, and Adobe Lightroom Classic focuses on local storage on your own hard drives, with the ability to synchronize selected images to the cloud.
